All the fun of the fair and more is promised at Kenthurst on Sunday, September 8 during the Kenthurst Fair and Street Parade.
The family fun day, organised by The Rotary Club of Kenthurst, is a much-loved fixture on the Orange Blossom Calendar and will run from 9am to 3pm.
The street parade is one of the highlights and will see hundreds of participants dancing, walking or marching the 1km along Kenthurst Rd from Jones Rd to John Benyon Rotary Park at 11am.
School students, Kindy groups and dance groups will be joined by clowns, marching bands, vintage cars and volunteers from the Rural Fire service and State Emergency Service for the colourful and noisy street parade.
There will be stalls galore at the Kenthurst Fair through the day. As well as all day entertainment on the main stage plus carnival rides and a big slide.
Organisers say the rides will be bigger and better than before and suit all ages plus there will be arcade games, fairy floss and ice-cream.
The Hills Shire Council will be giving away free plants at its stall during the day.
It will be a great opportunity to shop around the other market stalls as there will be jewellery, handbags, clothes, candles plus a white elephant stall.
Kenthurst Rural Fire Service will be in attendance and have a tent filled with smoke to show the importance of having to get down and get out of a room quickly.
Children will also enjoy the animal farm on the day and there will be a show bag stall.
