Second and Third Age Projects

Don’t miss Sport for Jove’s exciting youth drama initiatives – The Second Age and the Third Age projects – returning for a fifth season at Bella Vista Farm this December.

Students from the Hills area work alongside theatre professionals to create original theatre projects, as part of Shakespeare in the Park.

The Second Age Project showcases actors aged 10-14, while the Third Age Project displays the talents of actors aged 15-20.

Both projects draw their titles from the famous speech ‘The Seven Ages of Man’ in Shakespeare’s play As You Like It, beginning: “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women, merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages…”

Both projects provide an opportunity for young theatre enthusiasts to perform in a curtain raiser show from December 18 to 20 before the main act.
