Get the kids out and about to explore one of the more than 300 parks and reserves across The Hills Shire. Many of these parks have recently been upgraded so the fun never ends.
Coolock Crescent Reserve was upgraded in December 2022. The reserve now features netting, a vertical animal wall and sandstone balancing course. Young and budding musicians can practice their pentatonic scale on the five rainbow-coloured chimes.
Aberdour Village Reserve is a new playground located within walking distance of both Rouse Hill Public School and Rouse Hill Village. The playground features swings, see-saw, pirouette spinner, cubix tunnel, double slide, challenge ladder, rockwall, jumping jacks and a two-metre commando tube.
Parsonage Road Reserve was upgraded in February 2023. The upgrades at Parsonage Road Reserve included the installation of new playground equipment such as a climbing frame, double swing set, slide, spinner, echidna rocker and seating.
Woodhill Street Reserve was also upgraded in February 2023. Upgrades included a double swing set, slide, staircase and a noughts and crosses game.
